SINOPSIS: El Sr. Smith (Clive Owen), un misterioso y solitario pistolero, ayuda a nacer a un bebé en medio de un tiroteo. Pronto descubre que el niño es el objetivo de una peligrosa banda, liderada por Hertz (Paul Giamatti), cuyo objetivo es borrar todo rastro del recién nacido. Smith se une a una prostituta llamada DQ (Monica Bellucci) para intentar solucionar el misterio. Todos quieren ver muerto al pequeño, pero la gran pregunta es... ¿por qué?
